Counseling for Anxiety

Is anxiety taking over your life? Does it feel like you can’t control it no matter how hard you try? Have you already tried therapy but found it ineffective? If this sounds like you, I’m confident I can help. My practice offers a variety of approaches to treat anxiety disorders.  Research shows that therapy is an essential component to treating anxiety. That’s because anxiety therapy treats more than just the symptoms of the problem.  It helps to develop coping skills and effective tools to manage anxiety.

Couples Counseling

Do you feel like your relationship is at a standstill? Are you and your partner stuck in the same argument loop every night? Do you feel like you and your partner are drifting away? Do you desire more intimacy between you and your partner? All things can be improved, changed and bettered, with just a little support, no matter how big or small. With couples therapy, you’ll learn how to communicate your feelings and needs, and get what you want out of your relationship. Couple's therapy provides the opportunity to strengthen and deepen relationships.

Individual Therapy

Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life? Could you use a supportive, non-judgmental ear to help you find your way?  Do you think you could benefit the most from individualized attention? Are you hesitant to talk to others about your problems? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you’ve been seeking. Individual therapy offers the opportunity to develop new perspectives and tools to help you manage life's hurdles.

Therapy for Depression

Are you feeling hopeless, isolated, and not your usual self? I want you to know that you are not alone and there are people who can help. Many of my clients find relief in realizing that their struggle does not own them and that there are many options available to once again have hope in their lives.  I understand that depression can be hard.  I aim to help clients sort out the underlying environmental, biological, and circumstantial factors while offering support and care through a dark time in their lives.

Women’s Issues

Have you lost much of the joy you once felt? Are you struggling in an abusive or toxic relationship? Do you have years of living with low self-worth resulting in a less-than-desirable life? Throughout the ages, women have been called “the fairer sex.” And yet, were you to ask women about their life experiences, many would admit their life events haven’t always seemed so fair. Women may experience certain environmental, psychological, and biological challenges related to gender that have a significant impact on their mental health and well-being. If not addressed properly, these challenges can turn into burdens that often lead to anxiety, depression, and a lost sense of self.
